Caroline Boyle – Caroline is the Press Attache and Head of Outreach for the UK Office of the European Parliament. She has worked in the international worlds of shipping and property and for the European Commission, City of London Corporation and as director of the campaigning organisation Scotland in Europe. She is a published translator and director of a small Scottish film & TV company.
Fraser Campbell – Fraser is a trainee solicitor at Clifford Chance. He is also a School Governor in Bow, London, and former President of the Oxford Union and current Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford.
Jonathan Charles - Jonathan Charles was the BBC's Europe Correspondent, based in Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt from 1989-2005. He covered the major moments in European integration. He speaks French and German. His time spent in Europe was part of a twenty year career, as a BBC staff foreign correspondent, and he is now a freelance news presenter on BBC1, BBC News24 and BBC World television. Jonathan was educated at Oriel College, Oxford and has an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
Rajeeb Dey - Rajeeb (22) graduated with First Class Honours in June 2008 from the University of Oxford in Economics & Management. Whilst at University he was the longest serving President of Oxford Entrepreneurs, one of the largest networks of student entrepreneurs in Europe. Rajeeb has been heavily involved in social entrepreneurship and youth participation matters from an early age. At the age of 17, Rajeeb became the Founder & Chairman of the English Secondary Students’ Association (ESSA). He is an Ambassador for the “Make Your Mark Campaign” – helping to promote entrepreneurship in the UK. He also serves as a Trustee and Investment Committee member of UnLtd – the £100m Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs; Trustee of the Phoenix Education Trust; a Commissioner on the Carnegie UK Trust’s Inquiry into the Future of Civil Society; and an Advisory Board Member of the UK-India Business Council (UKIBC), which involved being part of Gordon Brown’s Ministerial visit to India in January 2008.
Richard Morgan - Richard is the founder of genYus. He brings to the team an incisive knowledge of how organisations operate having had extensive experience working within the political, public, private, and voluntary sectors, in both the UK and EU. He has advised Ministers and EU Commissioners on a wide range of business policy issues from the perspective of young people’s involvement, and has been a Business Adviser for Young Enterprise, and a Trustee of several social enterprise businesses. He is a member of The Economist Intelligence Unit’s CEO panel.
Arif Shah – Arif is a Public Affairs Executive at Business in New Europe, a membership based organisation promoting integration and cooperation with new members states of the European Union.
Oliver Sidwell – As a relatively recent graduate, Oliver has established RateMyPlacement, a website that enables students to review their work experience and internships for the benefit of their peers. He is also a contributor to Enterprise Nation.
Dougie Slater – Dougie is Event Director of European Young Professionals and POPC, a contemporary London based event management company. His approach to events will ensure that our occasions have impact and deliver high value for our audience.
Joe Twyman – Joe is Special Projects Manager at YouGov. His practical experience of communicating with defined demographic groups will be of considerable value to genYus.
Nick Wilkie - Nick is Chief Executive at London Youth. Previously he helped set up the Young Foundation and was Head of Sustainable Funding at the National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). He has also served on the boards of Futurebuilders and the UK Social Enterprise Coalition. He is a member of the Management Committee of the Round Chapel Neighbourhood project in Hackney and the Community and Education Committee of the multi award-winning Spitalfields Music Festival.
